Parkerville scientist takes prize in The Australian Innovation Challenge Awards.

Parkerville resident and CSIRO Principal Research Scientist, Dr Grant Douglas has taken first place in The Australian Innovation Challenge Awards in the Environment, Agriculture and Food category. Dr Douglas developed PhosLock, a natural water purification product that removes excess phosphates from contaminated water supplies and starves the destructive blue-green algae of its principal food source.
